SUCCESS BEGETS SUCCESS
It all started with a conversation between me and music historian Steve Bergsman. Then the unbelievable journey began: from the book ELVIS, ROCKY & ME, to the audiobook of the same name, to a Grammy nomination for best audiobook, and now to a documentary about my life. But, it’s not over. The book gods still look benevolently on this project and we can continue the journey. Not only is 2026 the 50th Anniversary year of the Oscar-winning film ROCKY, but a new film I PLAY ROCKY, which is about the making of the original movie, is also a knockout. By all indications, it will earn an Oscar nomination. As I wrote in the theme song from ROCKY, it looks like the book, documentary and the new movie are all GONNA FLY NOW.
