PLEASE NOTE: If you need an item quick, don't order from us; amazon is your best bet. We do appreciate you ordering from us directly (the author and the publisher make more from the sale this way), but due to the increased number of orders and covid-related shipping changes, our shipping takes considerably longer than it used to. Please be patient, as it can take 2 to 3 weeks to process and ship orders. Please email us about an order only if it's absolutely necessary. We REALLY appreciate your patience for this, and appreciate your business! THANK YOU!

The Bicycle Racer

Written by Michael Dante

The Bicycle Racer is an enlightening story about an exceptionally gifted athlete, Nick Milano. His career as a star running back for his college team and destined to be drafted by the National Football League, ended when he suffered a serious leg injury in an automobile accident. During his rehabilitation, his friend Rollie Fields, former wide receiver college colleague and professional cyclist, suggested that Nick accompany him on a bike riding exercise. Rollie recognized that Nick had all the attributes to becoming a competitive, professional racer having the speed, power, discipline, and determination to win. His attitude and approach to competition as a professional cyclist was different than most. Nick went on to race professionally in Italy, developing many new friendships with the Prescott cycling team and met the love of his life in the beauty of Tuscany’s countryside.

Nick Milano has a motto that he lives by, “Winning isn’t everything in life, it’s a way of life. Losing is a bad habit!”
