After WWII there was...

The eye of the camera lens is a window to our world. Through it, we see beauty, tragedy, and the passing of our lives.

Sometimes, if we are especially fortunate, we are privileged to view fleeting moments in history. Eye Remember is a personal glimpse at the people, places, and events that shaped a generation of post World War II "baby-boomers."

This volume contains photos, all from the author's personal collection, and profiles of celebrities, activists, and political leaders from those times. They colored the lives of us all.

Author, historian, and journalist JoAnn Semones is a "baby-boomer." Her stories have appeared in a variety of publications, including Mains'L Haul, Professional Mariner, Anchor Light, Good Old Days Magazine, A Light in the Mist, and Surviving Magazine, as well as in Stanford University's anthology, Learning to Live Again, and in the Chicken Soup for the Soul international book series.

Her first book, Shipwrecks, Scalawags, and Scavengers: The Storied Waters of Pigeon Point was released by Glencannon Press Maritime Books in October 2007.

More information about JoAnn's books and stories can be found on her website at: www.gullcottagebooks.com.
